Jack be Nimble
draw, draw, draw, draw, draw, draw, draw, draw.... paint? sure.
only fun thing i've done in my illustration class - assignment was to take a nursery rhyme, and change the context so the meaning changes, basically. i did "Jack Be Nimble." done in gouache paint. it's like watercolor, it just sounds dumber.
and then, i added legs to the Rock part of my Rock, Paper, GUN! doodle. i'm really starting to like this guy. should probably turn this into an actual... character, thing.
drew this one in HIGHSCHOOL. 5 years ago.. been sitting on my computer for awhile so, i colored it a few days ago. crazy, eh? our teacher was obsessed with 'collages.' so here's one of the few i did, only in COLOR!!!
and, yeah. cyclops dude. idea just came to me while i was homework-ing. made me laugh, and i had to draw it.

Rock, Paper, GUN!
yep. just some doodles in different notebooks coming together in an epic shootout or something. looks kinda like a wrap-around cover to an album or comic something... anyways, had a lot of fun.
i think i'm subconsciously drawing celebrities - now that i look at it, the guy on the right looks A LOT like Danny Glover... with a lot more hair. And the old guy in my previous post as someone pointed out, looks a LOT like Stan Lee. NOT to be confused with the form of Stan Lee in 1973. seriously... what the heck WAS that!?!?

The End
SO. another class, another doodle. you know how it goes.
i was thinking about going full color, but then i got the idea to use the blue from the notebook, and go for that "thanks for playing/the end" sorta look that flashes up after the credits when you used to beat games back in the day.
so yeah, to manifest my nintendo nerd-like qualities, this would sorta be for the game "Super Mario FATHER 'n sons" . . . or something weird like that. i've already got a sweet name picked out for the old man, and will probably be doing some more hardcore designs of him in a younger, more hardcore form. i can't believe nintendo hasn't gone there yet. they could call it "Super Mario Origins" or something equally hardcore. as long as it was hardcore.
speaking of nerds, nintendo, and the overusage of the word 'hardcore' check this out:
for more inspirational nintendo-like things, here's an animation Kyle discovered a while ago here, in tribute to the man who made it all possible (basically, the creator of the nintendo universe)

Hammered
the multi-colored bic pen strikes again!! here are a couple doodles i finished up while studiously paying attention in class. no better way to stay awake in class and feel like i'm accomplishing something.
and if you're REALLY curious, click here, and here to see both in their absolute origianl form, without the white highlights from photoshop.
in other news, my body is slowly yet surely mutating into a fish... or a fish-like...human-like creature. i need to drink water every 3 minutes or my mouth dries up, and i start going into these convlusive fish spasms on the ground.. it'd be more practical at this point to invest in a fish bowl/tank in which i could soak in all the moisture i need, and properly mutate the gills. however, becoming a super-fish-human, i'll finally be able to swim.... AT THE SPEED OF DOLPHIN!!!! that will actually be the newly coined catch-phrase i'll be using as well to compliment my newfound powers, before, during, or just after using said powers.

sKATANA - with color
just more coloring practice, in search of more skill. i'm starting to get into all the doodles i did at work over the summer. . . at this rate i'll have nothing old left to practice on, which means i'll have to start drawing again. haha................. kidding.
been sick as of a day or so ago... i feel like the equivalent of the mass of my brain has leaked out of my right nostril...
on a more positive note, i helped a young lady rescue her fruit snacks wich were stuck in a vending machine by giving it two good side kicks. karate helping people, one kick at a time...
speaking of karate, here's an inspirational video...
and i haven't laughed this hard in a while after seeing this:

Fooly Cooly Color Practice
just some more color practice on some old stuff..
the pirate ninja, the middle entity of what some may call a 'holy' war between pirates and ninjas set in place before the beginning of time to keep all creation in balance.. symbol of ultimate and bitter hate and apocalyptic foreshadowing.. or sweet and sour love. depends on which side you don't take.
"Chaos"
yep.. just trying to find some different rythmn to add to life by breaking out of the 'routine' habits you create from repeating things over, and over, and over... like drawing, music, fighting, or whatever it is that you do. everything shares the same elements when you really break something down far enough.
